3M film with an inspiring message transformed the facade of the new library in Burgas

The building of the former Hospital in Burgas was transformed into a “Cultural and Educational Center (Museum) for Contemporary Art and Library”. This is the largest public library in all of Southeastern Bulgaria, collecting the fund of the PK Yavorov Regional Library of 600,000 books, housed so far in 4 different buildings. The project for the construction of a modern and interesting library for the residents amounts to over BGN 8 million, and its realization took a year and a half.

From the very beginning, the concept was based on a modern and functional design, resembling the most modern libraries in the world. The vision is based on a pre-drawn project and includes innovative design solutions.

For the modern vision of the glass facades, Partners Ltd. delivered the highest class film – 3M CRYSTAL Glass Finishes 7725SE-324, Frosted. In unison with the purpose of the building, words such as science, strength, BURGAS, speech, culture and inspiration are written on the glass facades. According to the plan, the Cultural and Educational Center provides premises for exhibition of applied, fine, decorative art, fashion, exterior, interior and industrial design, interactive hall, hall for educational courses, area for children’s creativity and area with studios and workshops for young authors. There is also a conference hall with a capacity of 76 seats, where performances of the Puppet Theater will be presented. It even has a large terrace with lots of green areas, which will be used as a summer garden.
