3M presents a palette of film colors for wrapping cars with a super gloss finish. The additional gloss makes them remarkably shiny, making them the perfect choice for an automotive accent or overall wrap. The innovative technology of the 3M 2080 Wrap Film Series allows for reduced initial tack and improved repositionability, reduces surface imprints, and increases scratch resistance during installation. 3M Car Wrap Series High Gloss features a transparent protective layer that allows applicators to install the film more cleanly and easily.
Wrapping curves easier than ever
The high-quality, double-cast 3M Car Wrap Films is a new, improved version of 3M 1080 film, meeting the highest requirements for complete car wrapping. Extremely flexible, allowing easy and fast application, even of the most complex 3D curves. This guarantees the stability of the installation on vulnerable details – the edges of doors and fenders, as well as in the most unprotected parts of the car – the front cover and the bumper.
Improved adhesive layer technology
Innovative adhesive layer technologies are used. Comply™ and Controltac™ v3 technology guarantee easy and flawless application on the complex 3D curves of the car. Micro Comply™ technology has completely invisible air channels for better ventilation, aiming for a “bubble-free” application. And Controltac™ prevents the adhesive from sticking to the vehicle’s surface until the spatula is applied, allowing for repositioning during installation. Postheating (the final baking/fixing of the already installed film) is mandatory for maximum results.
