3M SJ3551 Dual Lock is a double-sided reclosable fastener – from one side is covered with clear acrylic VHB adhesive, and from the other has thousands of stems. The SJ3551 series has 62 mushroom-shaped stems per square cm (more than the standard series), which provides greater adhesion strength to materials with high surface energy – metal, plastics, acrylic, aluminum, etc. The Acrylic adhesive is highly durable for applications exposed to high temperatures ( +90° C) or humidity and is recommended for bonding material with medium with high surface energy.
