The Plexiglas, known to many, is a transparent thermoplastic material. The chemical experiments began in 1843. From there on, this material has gone through many metamorphosis, but one thing is certain, it plays a big part of our day to day life.
A part of its development was accomplished with the help of two companies – Plazit и Polygal, both of them began manufacturing extruded thermoplastics in the year of 1973.
It wasn’t long before Polygal became pioneers and innovators in the design and manufacture of Polycarbonate. Polygal and Plazit merged in 2011.
From the very beginning they released high quality Plexiglas (PMMA) sheets in different shape and color.
