He founded SloanLED with the goal of developing a new type of light bulb that was more energy-efficient and longer-lasting than traditional incandescent bulbs. To achieve this goal, he began experimenting with LEDs, which were still in their early stages of development at the time. In the 1950s, British experiments deepened research into what is LED<\/strong><\/a> and how it could be improved. In the 1960s, SloanLED made its first breakthrough in LED technology with the development of a red LED that was bright enough to be used in commercial applications. This led to the creation of the company’s first product, a red LED indicator light for use in electronic devices such as calculators and watches.<\/p>\n

Over the years, SloanLED continued to innovate and develop new LED technologies. In 1968 company begins early work with U.S military. In 1979, SloanLED continued to push the boundaries of LED technology with the development of high-brightness LEDs. Previously, LEDs had only been available in red, green, and blue, but with the creation of white LEDs, they could now be used for general lighting applications. In 1997 they make the first national signage program and in 1999 SloanLED entered the spa market.<\/p>\n

In 2000, the introduction of ChanneLED marked another successful year for the company. Subsequently, SloanLED developed Constant Current Technology and obtained a patent for LEDStripe in 2004. In 2011, SloanLED expanded into the petroleum and convenience store markets, and research data indicates that the company sold 50,000,000 feet of product in the following years. In 2013, the company secured a patent for Pole Mount Light.
